Iran is ready to reinitiate nuclear talks with Washington on condition that it is approached with "respect" and "honor", Iran's top diplomat has announced.

The Iranian diplomat said exclusively dialogue worked, and revealed fresh requests had come from go-betweens to restart discussions with the American leadership. He said Iran had zero unreported enrichment locations, and Iran had not yet reached a point to permit the global atomic watchdog to inspect bombed nuclear sites for safety concerns.

Walking a Difficult Path

Iranian officials claimed they felt they had attained a "magic solution" to the nuclear fuel concern in prior discussions, when it was decided an domestic cooperative with American involvement could enrich uranium. The two nations would have been able to declare success since home-based processing would have persisted and the US could be confident that Iran's enrichment initiative was exclusively peaceful.

It had not been settled in the discussions that American atomic experts could operate within Iranian territory, but that was a natural consequence of the consortium proposal. Officials claimed three times they had secured an understanding with Trump's special envoy the American negotiator only for the deal to collapse due to "spoilers in Washington".

Current Situation
